Seminar on Partner Driven Cooperation with Sweden within the Energy sector
We have the pleasure of inviting you to a seminar on Energy and Partner Driven Cooperation (PDC). Sweco is contracted by Sida (The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) to facilitate and promote Partner Driven Cooperation (PDC) in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana in the field of climate and environment.
PDC aims at establishing long-term sustainable partnerships between organizations (state and non-state partners, private companies or civil society) in Sweden and in South Africa, Namibia or Botswana. Where necessary, partnerships are assisted with start-up financing. The aim is to stimulate cooperation directly between partners who has a mutual interest in working together, offering new opportunities for all types of partners.
The purpose of the Energy Seminar is:
- To explain the PDC concept
- To share experiences about the Energy sector in Sweden
- To understand the South African challenges in this sector
- To explore possible partnerships
- To identify potential projects or areas of interest for PDC within the energy sector
When: Wednesday, 7th of March 2012

Time: 9.30 to 12.30.
A light lunch will be served at the end of the seminar.
